Using TextPad

Creating a New .htm Document

1) Make sure that TextPad is open.
2) Go to File > Save As.
3) Then on the pulldown windown labeled "save as type," select "HTML."

Saving a Document in TextPad

1) Make sure that TextPad is open.
2) Go to File > Save (if you like keyboard shortcuts, you can use control+s).

Opening a Document in TextPad

1) Make sure that TextPad is open.
2) Then go to File > Open (if you like keyboard shortcuts, you can use control+o).
3) Then you can browse for the file or type in the name of the file.
4) Make sure that you are looking in the correct folder, drive, etc.!

Using ClipBook to Insert HTML Code

1) Make sure that TextPad is open.
2) In the box in the bottom left corner of the TextPad window, there is a pulldown menu. On that menu, select "HTML tags".
3) Then choose the tag that you would like to insert.
4) Right click the selected tag and choose insert from the menu.
